The new Keeneland Library has been awarded a Special Eclipse Award, the National Thoroughbred Racing Association announced Tuesday. The library is located at Keeneland Race Course in Lexington, Ky., and contains more than 10,000 books, 100,000 news and trade publications, and 225,000 photos and negatives. . . . Michael Clevenger of the Louisville Courier-Journal has won the Media Eclipse Award for photography, the NTRA said Tuesday. Clevenger's winning photograph was of jockey Victor Espinoza acknowledging the Churchill Downs crowd after winning the Kentucky Derby on War Emblem. . . . Emily Ring ($3.80), ridden by James Lopez for trainer Blackie Huffman, earned her second straight stakes victory in Monday night's $78,400 New Year's Eve Handicap for fillies and mares at Mountaineer Park. . . .
