A sale-record $615,464 Desert King colt was the top lot Friday night at the Hong Kong International sale of 2-year-olds. The single-session auction sold 35 juveniles, including some the Hong Kong Jockey Club purchased from Keeneland specifically for this sale, for gross receipts of $6,398,503, down 12 percent from last year's record, and an average price of $182,814, down 4 percent. . . .
