The Grand Prairie Sports Facilities Development Corporation voted on Wednesday to allow Magna Entertainment Corp. to take over control of the lease of Lone Star Park should Magna's $99 million deal to buy the track be approved by the Texas Racing Commission on Oct. 16. The Development Corporation was appointed by the city of Grand Prairie to serve as the landlord of the track.
