The New Jersey Attorney General has filed a lawsuit against three Internet casinos, including two that offered betting on horse racing, for breaking state laws prohibiting gambling in the state outside of Atlantic City. The state is seeking a fine of $7,500 per violation of the Consumer Fraud Act from alohacasinos.com, royalclubcasino.com, and 7sultans.com. . . . Pennsylvania State Representative Thomas Petrone said this week he plans to introduce a bill in September that would allow voters to determine whether slot machines should be legal at the state's four racetracks: Philadelphia Park, Penn National, the Downs at Pocono, and the Meadows. The legislation would authorize referenda in the counties where those tracks are located.
