Padua Stables in Summerfield, Fla., has lowered the stud fee for Grade 2 winner and first-year stallion Exchange Rate (Danzig) from $12,500 to $7,500. Nadia Sanan, a Padua spokeswoman, said the farm would offer the lower fee to breeders in both the 2002 and 2003 seasons.
