Former Kentucky governor Brereton C. Jones Jr., and his wife, Libby, have purchased historic Woodburn Farm near Lexington, Ky., and will put a conservation easement on the 495-acre property. The farm, listed with Justice Real Estate for $7,425,000, was once the home of the great 19th century stallion Lexington and produced five Kentucky Derby winners, four Preakness Stakes winners, and 10 Belmont Stakes winners. . . . The National Thoroughbred Racing Association board on Friday approved the continuation of its Racing Integrity and Drug Testing Task Force at a quarterly meeting in New York. The task force has taken a leading role in the effort to reform medication rules in the United States.
