The National Thoroughbred Racing Association will hold its fourth annual marketing summit on Sunday in Las Vegas. The three-day summit will cover, among other topics, research results, advertising, and public relations. . . . Colonial Downs has confirmed its dates for its 2002 meet, which is scheduled for June 21 through July 23. The meet's signature event, the $200,000 Virginia Derby, will be run on July 13. . . . Magna Entertainment Corp. will proceed with an offering of 20 million shares of Class A stock, the company said Friday. The offering had first been announced in October but was postponed because of unfavorable market conditions.
