Zenyatta has finally finished second, beaten by the tennis star Serena Williams in voting for Female Athlete of the Year by The Associated Press. Williams finished with 66 votes to 18 for Zenyatta, the unbeaten mare. Rachel Alexandra was seventh with 10 votes.
