Trainer Bernell Rhone won the 1,000th race of his career Sunday at Remington Park with Cooltime ($9) in the sixth race. The winner was ridden by Rhone's son-in-law, jockey Dean Butler. . . . A decision by the Kentucky Horse Racing Commission regarding the reinstatement of jockey Francisco Torres has been delayed because of a schedule conflict for a commission member. The case of Torres, who has not ridden in Kentucky since being barred from Churchill Downs in 2000, had been scheduled to come to a vote before the commission Tuesday. . . . Fort Erie canceled the remainder of its card after the third race on Monday because of high winds. Racing was scheduled to resume Tuesday.
