Fasig-Tipton chief executive officer Boyd Browning said that buyers requested 14 post-sale steroid tests on horses from Fasig-Tipton's March 3 Calder select 2-year-old sale in Miami. All came back negative, Browning said. "Some buyers are availing themselves of the testing procedures," he said. "Obviously it's not the majority of people, but 14 is not an insignificant number." . . . Portland Meadows has added two racing days to its meeting - Monday, March 30, and Tuesday, March 31. These days make up for the cancellations of the last half of the March 2 card and the entire March 3 racing program due to poor track conditions.
