Delaware Park will hold 116 days of live racing this year - 20 fewer than in 2008. Although the season is similar in length, April 25 through Nov. 7, Delaware will run Sunday cards only from June 7 to June 28, racing primarily on Saturdays and Monday through Wednesday . . . The British bloodstock magazine Pacemaker has been purchased by the nation's Thoroughbred Breeders Asociation and the Racehorse Owners Association, the breeders' group announced Tuesday. The 40-year-old Pacemaker will merge with Thoroughbred Owner & Breeder. . . . The Hagyard Equine Medical Institute in Lexington. Ky., has donated $10,000 to the Grayson-Jockey Club Research Foundation in support of research into racehorse lameness issues.
