Casse, 47, was voted the Sovereign Award as Canadas outstanding trainer in 2006 and 2007. . . . Josean Ramirez won with his first and second career mounts at Laurel Park on Friday. Ramirez, 21, guided Sir Classic Chris to a neck victory for trainer King Leatherbury in the second race and then won the third race on Resters Red Bullet. . . . The date for the Lincoln Handicap at Ruidoso Downs, which is a next-race option for the undefeated Peppers Pride, has been moved from Aug. 30 to Aug. 31 to maximize television coverage of the race, the track announced.
