Exasparate, a horse trained by Ben Perkins Jr., has been disqualified from first place and unplaced in a race last July at Belmont Park for testing positive for Guanabenz, an anti-hypertension agent to reduce blood pressure that the Racing Commissioners International has categorized as a Class 3 medication. Carmine Donofrio, the steward for the New York State Racing and Wagering Board, said a ruling against Perkins is forthcoming, but that no penalty has yet been assessed. . . . Shadwell Farm stallion Kayrawan has been relocated from that Lexington, Ky., farm to Millennium Farms in Texas in a three-year lease deal between the two farms. Grade 2 winner Kayrawan, a 10-year-old son of Mr. Prospector and the Blushing Groom mare Muhbubh, will stand for a $2,500 fee. . . . The Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association in Lexington has named Gay Fisher, formerly a director of promotions at the Maryland Jockey Club, its new director of marketing and communications.
