Richard Migliore has been added to the roster of riders who will compete in the Cathay Pacific International Jockeys Championship on Dec. 5 at Happy Valley Racecourse in Hong Kong. As the lone American representative in the three-race contest, Migliore will join Canada's Emma-Jayne Wilson, Japan's Yasunari Iwata, and five former winners of the competition - Damien Oliver, Olivier Peslier, Christophe Soumillon, Andrasch Starke, and Doug Whyte. . . . A filly by Group 1 winner Starcraft out of Proudfoot (Shareef Dancer) sold for 65,000 guineas, or about $141,960, as the top-priced horse Wednesday at the Tattersalls December foal sale in Newmarket, England. Wednesday's session, the second of five for weanlings, grossed about $5,309,304 for 155 horses, resulting in an average of about $34,253 and a median of about $21,840.
