Grade 2 winner Smooth Jazz, sire of recent stakes-placed runner Smooth Air, will relocate to Buckridge Farm in Kinderhook, N.Y., from CloverLeaf Farms II in Florida for 2008. An 8-year-old Storm Boot horse, he will stand for $3,000 as the property of a syndicate. . . . Rich Baugh, general manager of Ruidoso Downs since 1996, has resigned to become the assistant general manager of racing and casinos at Zia Park in Hobbs, N.M. Baugh was involved in the construction of Zia before majority owner R.D. Hubbard, who also owns Ruidoso, sold the 3-year-old facility last year to Penn National Gaming.
