The Jockey Club has elected James "Jimmy" Bell and W. Cothran "Cot" Campbell as members, the organization announced on Wednesday. Bell is the president of Darley USA, the American Thoroughbred breeding and racing operation of Sheikh Mohammed al-Maktoum, and Campbell is the founder and president of Dogwood Stable, a Thoroughbred racing partnership. . . . Bob and John, a Grade 1 winner for Stonerside Stable, has been retired and will enter stud in 2008 at Josephine Abercrombie's Pin Oak Stud in Versailles, Ky., as the property of Stonerside and Pin Oak, with his fee not yet announced. The homebred, a 4-year-old Seeking the Gold colt out of Minister's Melody, by Deputy Minister, won the 2006 Wood Memorial.
