The suspension runs from April 2 through May 2, and Saez must attend a drug rehab program and submit a negative drug test before being reinstated. . . . Brian Jabelmann, former director of racing surfaces at Woodbine, has been named track superintendent at Louisiana Downs, which begins its meet on May 4. . . . The Louisiana Horsemen's Benevolent and Protective Association has rescinded its approval for Evangeline Downs to send its signal to Television Games Network, citing objections to the exclusive nature of the arrangement. Last year, the Louisiana HBPA also threatened to rescind its approval for Fair Grounds in New Orleans to send its signal to TVG, but the group backed off before the start of the meet.
