Tim McMurry, owner of the Fleetwood Bloodstock agency in Lexington, Ky., has joined the staff at Lanes End Farm in Versailles, Ky., as the head of Lanes End Bloodstock. McMurry will represent the farms clients in public and private transactions and will also assist them with mating plans and equine appraisals. . . . Max Hugel, chairman of the board at Rockingham Park and a prominent Thoroughbred owner and breeder, died on Monday after a long battle with cancer and related complications. He was 81.
