Jockey Russell Baze reached the 9,500 mark in career victories when he guided favored Sir Toasty ($5.40) to a 6 1/2-length victory in a 1 1/16-mile $12,500 claiming race Friday at Bay Meadows. It moved Baze to 30 victories from Laffit Pincay Jr.'s record of 9,530 wins. . . . Jockey Julio Felixrode his 2,000th winner Friday at Thistledown aboard Issi ($17.20) in the third race. . . . Great Lakes Downs will present Michigan's only all-Thoroughbred meeting in 2007, according to a schedule released Tuesday by the state's racing commissioner. The 100-day Great Lakes meet will run from May 5 through Nov. 6. . . . Will Rogers Downs in Claremore, Okla., has made plans to rebuild the base of its track and resurface the one-mile oval, said Kelly Cathey, track operations manager for Will Rogers. The project will begin on Wednesday. . . . California stakes winner Frisco Star (More Than Ready-No Mud On Me, by Great Above) will enter stud in 2007 at Stonewall Farm Stallions near Versailles, Ky., with a $5,000 fee, the farm announced Tuesday. The 3-year-old colt won all three of his career starts, setting a track record of 1:01.65 for 5o1/2 furlongs in his debut at Santa Rosa last year. . . . Second-crop sire Talk Is Money will move from Millennium Farms Kentucky to Highcliff Farm in Delanson, N.Y., for the 2007 season. An 8-year-old Deputy Minister horse, Talk Is Money, the sire of 2006 Alydar Stakes winner Blazing Sunset and 2006 stakes winners Grandma W. and Money Code, will stand for $5,000 at Highcliff. . . . HorseRacing TV, the television channel owned by Magna Entertainment, was added to a tier of Insight Communication's digital cable subscription package on Nov. 1, HRTV said in a release. Insight has 1.3 million customers in Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio, and includes two large horse racing markets, Lexington and Louisville. . . . Digital Gaming Solutions and Las Vegas Dissemination Company have entered into an agreement to bring parimutuel Thoroughbred, harness, greyhound, and jai-alai wagering from the United States to offtrack betting facilities throughout South and Central America.
