Average daily attendance dropped 3 percent to 4,590, and average daily handle on the track's live races fell 11 percent to $791,857. Thoroughbred racing returns April 4. . . . Terry Thompson broke Jon Court's single season mark of 118 wins in a season Sunday night at Hoosier Park when he guided Quietly Dreaming to victory in the third race. Eclipsing the mark set in 1998, Thompson finished the night with three wins to give him 121 heading into Monday's final night of the meet. . . . A four-horse entry took the first four spots in Saturday's $100,000 Drinkers of the Wind Futurity for 3-year-old Arabians at Los Alamitos. Bonuz finished 1 3/4 lengths clear of Doran, who was followed by On the Mufv and Red Zone. The entry returned $2.20 to win and Los Alamitos did not accept place or show wagers. . . . A $37,000 yearling Devil's Bag half-brother to Washington stakes winner Melcapwalker topped Sunday's Washington Thoroughbred Breeders Association's winter mixed sale.
