Espinoza reunites with agent Brian Beach
Benoit Photo Victor Esponoza has rehired former agent Brian Beach, who represented him from 2013 to 2021.
Hall of Fame jockey Victor Espinoza has rehired veteran jockey’s agent Brian Beach after a 21-month gap in their partnership.
Beach represented Espinoza from 2013 until May 2021 when Espinoza hired Tom Knust. At the time, Beach had purchased a home in Idaho with his wife, Lotta, and was based there.
Beach said last weekend that he will spend the majority of his time in Southern California while representing Espinoza.
Espinoza won the 2014 Kentucky Derby with California Chrome and swept the 2015 Triple Crown with American Pharoah when he and Beach were previously a team.
Knust continues to book mounts on behalf of Edwin Maldonado, who currently ranks third in the standings at the Santa Anita winter-spring meeting.
