Equine Sales Company of Louisiana juvenile sale catalog now online

The catalog for the inaugural Equine Sales Company of Louisiana 2-year-olds in training sale is now online, featuring 72 juveniles.

The sale will be held Monday, April 28 in Opelousas, La., while the under-tack show is set for Saturday, April 26. The catalog is currently available to view on the sale company’s website and print catalogs will be made available by request.

The sale also features a horses of racing age portion with seven offerings currently cataloged. Supplemented horses for both portions of the sale will continue to be accepted through April 15, and catalog pages for added horses will be posted to the sale company’s website as they come in.

“Our catalog features a strong mix of Louisiana and Kentucky stallions, and many of these horses will be ready to go directly to the track to take advantage of the rich purses offered for Louisiana-bred 2-year-olds,” said Sales Director Foster Bridewell. “We are still taking supplements and expect several more promising 2-year-olds to be added along with some proven horses of racing age.”
