AUBURN, Wash. - Friday night's program at Emerald Downs was canceled after the first of eight scheduled races. The jockeys declined to ride, citing unsafe track conditions caused by heavy rain squalls. Fans in attendance received rain checks good for any day of live racing at Emerald Downs.
