Emcee has strong debut at N.Y.-bred sale

The top price for a New York resident sire and New York first-year sire at the Fasig-Tipton New York-bred yearling sale were recorded by the same horse, as Emcee was represented by a $110,000 filly sold to Art Watson.

The filly, consigned by Taylor Made Sales, as agent, is out of the Street Cry mare Picketline, dam of stakes winner Successful Native.

Emcee, by Unbridled’s Song, scored his signature victory in the Grade 1 Forego Stakes at Saratoga. Standing for Darley at Sequel Stallions, he is from the family of Grade 1 winners Constitution and Awesome Humor.
