Robert Elliston, the president of Turfway Park in Florence, Ky., has been reelected as chairman of the National Thoroughbred Racing Association, the NTRA announced Wednesday. Elliston was first elected chairman of the NTRA two years ago. The position has a two-year term. Elliston is also the NTRA board's representative of Midwest tracks. In addition, Robert Clay, the owner of Three Chimneys Farm in Midway, Ky., was elected to the NTRA's board to represent the Jockey Club. Clay replaces Alan Marzelli, the president of the Jockey Club. Clay is an original board member of the NTRA, which was founded in 1997.
