Eisaman lots run fastest times

Horses from the Eisaman Equine consignment produced the fastest times Friday at the Ocala Breeders' Sales Co.'s under-tack preview for its upcoming April juvenile sale. The auction will take place Tuesday through Friday at the OBS facility in Ocala, Fla.

Hip No. 856, a Straight Man-Miss Salt Lick filly, topped the eighth-mile work tab with a 10-second breeze. Hip No. 947, a Cape Town-On Top of That colt, was quickest at a quarter-mile, covering the distance in 21.20 seconds. Both will sell through the Eisaman Equine agency.

The Straight Man filly is out of a stakes-placed daughter of Salt Lake and is a half-sister to the winners Asaja, Devils Lick, and Salty Wonder. The Cape Town colt is out of a Gate Dancer mare and is a half-brother to three winners: Noyes Place, Precisely That, and Cherish the Moment.

The final under-tack preview was to end late Saturday afternoon.
