Eight horses worked an eighth-mile in 10.20 seconds to top the work tab Wednesday at the Fasig-Tipton Midlantic May juvenile sale's first under-tack preview.\nThe workouts took place at the fair grounds in Timonium, Md., where the second and final previews also were to be on Thursday. The auction at the Timonium sales pavilion will take place on May 18-19. \nThe eight horses who covered an eighth-mile in 10.20 seconds were Hip No. 12, a Eurosilver-Scope filly; Hip No. 24, a Tapit-Shopping colt; Hip No. 46, a Forest Danger-Spa Romance colt; Hip No. 82, a D'Wildcat-Sweet But Nasty colt; Hip No. 112, a Freud-True Legend filly; Hip No. 149, an Exchange Rate-With Precision filly; Hip No. 240, a Woke Up Dreamin-Crafty Gold colt; and Hip No. 241, a Tale of the Cat-Daimon colt.\nAn Orientate-L'Abidjanaise colt had the fastest quarter-mile work, breezing the distance in 21.40 seconds. The colt sells as Hip No. 51.\nA Wildcat Heir filly stopped the clock in 34.20 seconds for the day's only three-eighth-mile work. A daughter of Brightest Future, she sells is Hip No. 205 in the catalog.\nHip No. 148, an Aldebaran-With My Blessings filly, was the only juvenile to work a half-mile. She completed her breeze in 46.60 seconds.
