Eight turn in fastest furlong during Thursday’s OBS June breeze show

An octet of juveniles breezed an eighth of a mile in :10 seconds flat to top Thursday’s session of the Ocala Breeders’ Sales Co. June 2-year-olds in training and horses of racing age sale.

The eight horses that registered the co-fastest times of the day over the Ocala Training Center’s all-weather Safetrack surface were:

► Hip No. 608, a dark bay or brown Flatter colt out of the winning High Yield mare Destiny’s Yield. Consigned by Thoroughbred Champions Training Center, he is from the family of Grade 1 winner Shaadi and Grade 3 winner Sir Greeley.

► Hip No. 625, a bay Cool Coal Man filly out of the winning Tiger Ridge mare Donnie’s Secret. The dam is a full sibling to Grade 2 winner Leah’s Secret, a half sister to Grade 3 winner Bear Tough Guy, and from the extended family of 1986 Horse of the Year Lady’s Secret. Hartley/De Renzo Thoroughbreds consigns the filly as agent.

► Hip No. 630, a gray or roan filly from the first crop of sire Concord Point, out of the Unbridled’s Song mare Dream Delight. That mare is a half sister to Grade 2 winner Dreamy Kid and Grade 3 winner Kid Dreams. Thoroughbred Friends and Associates consigns the filly.

► Hip No. 634, St. Joe Bay, a dark bay or brown Saint Anddan colt out of the winning Honor Glide mare Dream Ride. His third dam is the multiple champion Susan’s Girl, who is the dam of multiple Grade 1 winner Copelan. Bobby Dodd consigns St. Joe Bay as agent.

► Hip No. 641, a chestnut colt by Candy Ride out of the stakes-placed Dynaformer mare Dyna Del. Consigned by Thoroughbred Champions Training Center, the colt is from the family of Grade 3 winners Halo’s Image and Sweet Repent.

► Hip No. 718, a bay Harlan’s Holiday filly out of the multiple stakes-winning Distorted Humor mare Funny Annie. Her page includes Grade 2 winner Amber Ever and Grade 3 winner Artichoke, and she is consigned by Silver Star, agent.

► Hip No. 723, a bay Forestry colt out of the winning Geiger Counter mare Geiger Geisha, who hails from the family of Grade 2 winner Zuppardo Ardo. He is consigned by Inside Move, Inc., agent.

► Hip No. 776, a dark bay or brown Sharp Humor colt out of the placed Hennessy mare Hennessy’s Deeds. The Texas-bred colt is consigned by Grassroots Training and Sales.

One horse occupied the top spot among horses that breezed two furlongs during the under-tack show, covering the distance in :21 seconds flat.

► Hip No. 662, a chestnut filly by Munnings out of the unraced Dixie Union mare Evening Sun. Her third dam is Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies winner Twilight Ridge. Hoppel’s Horse and Cattle Co. consigns the filly as agent.

The OBS June breeze show continues through Saturday, June 14, beginning each day at 7:30 a.m. Eastern at the Ocala Training Center. The sale begins Tuesday, June 17, with sessions starting daily at 10:30 a.m. Eastern through Friday, June 20.
