E F Five feels right at home in Aspen

E F Five has been an Aspen regular for the past four years, and on Saturday at Arapahoe Park he will attempt to win the $40,000 stakes for the third time in his career. E F Five, an 8-year-old by Oliver’s Twist, won the Aspen at the ages of 4 and 6. He also was second in the race at 5 and last year at 7.
The Aspen, which will be run over six furlongs, is restricted to 3-year-olds and up bred in Colorado. The field of nine includes Wally Van, an eight-time stakes winner coming off a score in the $40,000 Arapahoe Park Sprint.
