Dynasty of Her Own holds on in California Oaks

Dynasty of Her Own won her second stakes of 2020 with a front-running score in Sunday’s $75,450 California Oaks for 3-year-old fillies at Golden Gate Fields.
Ridden by Ricardo Gonzalez, Dynasty of Her Own led by as many as three lengths and needed that advantage to hold off a late threat from Mind Out, who closed to within a half-length at the finish.
Dynasty of Her Own ($5.80) was favored and ran 1 1/16 miles in 1:44.45. Mind Out, who closed from fifth in a field of six, was the 2-1 second choice and finished 1 3/4 lengths in front of Paige Anne.
Reiwa finished fourth, followed by Mollie O’ McEvoy and Eclair.
