The first running of the $50,000 Ohio Debutante Handicap for older Ohio-accredited fillies and mares headlines the final weekend of racing Saturday at ThistleDown. The 1 1/16-mile race drew a field of eight. Accredited is the more restrictive of the  Ohio- bred classes as both the sire and dam must stand in Ohio. Ohio Debutante, race 8 KEY CONTENDERS   Startin Something (Last 3 Beyers : 39-45-51) Trained by Tim Hamm, she is winless this season and won only one race last year. The drop to accredited Ohio-breds  should help her break out of her slump. She has won 6 of 20 locally and 3 of 14 at the distance. There is an abundance of early speed in the race and her come-from-behind style should suit her well. She finished sixth in the Catlaunch against males in her last out Sept.  28. Circle Can Run (Last 3 Beyers: 39-52-59) Will be on or near the early lead. She has won 3 of 12 locally and has two second-place finishes in three attempts at the distance. Hope’s Frog Song (Last 3 Beyers: 29-30-63)  Won her maiden tree starts ago by more than 11 lengths at Belterra Park. The 3-year-old as yet to attempt 1 1/16 miles.. Trainer Ivan Vazquez is winning with 40 percent of his starters that stretch out after two shorter races. Isadella (Last 3 Beyers: 52-47-18) Trained by Ivan Vazquez and ridden by Megan Fadlovich, a combo has won at 17 percent  the past two years. Both are winless at this meet and so they are overdue.
