DRF's Horse Racing Playbook for Wednesday, October 19, 2022

Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook – something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action.
1:32 KEE 2nd SAVE GRACE (#6, 10-1) took some betting making her career debut July 30 in an Ellis Park MSW. Showed nothing, off the better part of three months, and now starts afresh without blinkers and in for a $30K tag. Suspect there could be more there than meets the eye. -Marcus Hersh | Get PPs for this race
2:36 KEE 4th NINETIES COUNTRY (#10, 5-1) drops in class but only back down to the level at which she was claimed three back. Don't think she wanted much part of the two-turn mile last out at CNL, and her race two back was compromised by a poor start and a traffic-y trip where she was stuck between and behind horses much of the way. Fast local work. -Marcus Hersh | Get PPs for this race
4:12 KEE 7th The favorite will be long-layoff comeback starter Prevalance, but at a much longer win price I'll try long layoff comeback starter CHATTALOT (#6, 8-1). Steve Asmussen having his best Keeneland meet since fall 2020 and Chattalot, who has showed plenty of flashes, looks well meant with fast works for a barn that doesn't work fast. Twice won while racing fresh, and his lone try as far as this 6 1/2-furlong trip came in his last start sans Lasix - he might be more capable at the distance than you think. -Marcus Hersh | Get PPs for this race
8:35 RP 2nd COST AVERAGE (#3, 7-2) should be sharp for the move back to two turns off the seven-eighths of a mile start. Both of his career wins have come at this mile trip. -Marcus Hersh | Get PPs for this race
