Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook – something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action. Post Time: 2:18 ET Track: Tampa Bay Downs (4th Race) Horse: CHACARERA (#1, 12-1) Expecting a much-improved effort from CHACARERA, who has lots of room to improve after running against unfavorable race flows in her last pair, consecutive races lacking pace which thus set up well for the speeds (note the bold "S" in DRF pp's); prior Beyer is good enough to put her in the mix here, if she can run to it, and it is further proof she was hindered by the pace scenarios in her last two. -Kenny Peck | Get Past Performances for this race   Post Time: 3:56 ET Track: Tampa Bay Downs (7th Race) Horse: UNCLE'S GOLD (#12, 9-2) UNCLE'S GOLD was a close-up third in his latest, snapping a modest two-race win streak, but he may have simply moved too soon in that loss; he'll need some help getting into this race as an Also Eligible but if he gets to run he's likely to make a run late. -Kenny Peck | Get Past Performances for this race Post Time: 4:13 ET Track: Turf Paradise (3rd Race) Horse: BEAUTIFUL BREEZE (#3, 6-1) BEAUTIFUL BREEZE is a DRF Best Bet (Scott Ehlers). | Get Past Performances for this race Post Time: 4:26 ET Track: Tampa Bay Downs (8th Race) Horse: CROSS HASTE (#2, 10-1) Perhaps it was CROSS HASTE not agreeing with the addition of blinkers, or it was the tougher competition, but the unfavorable race flow is what sells me on CROSS HASTE, who was in a pace-filled field and backed up when unable to get close in the opening stages (note the bold "C" in DRF pp's, indicating a Closer-friendly race flow); can go a long way if able to make the lead today. -Kenny Peck | Get Past Performances for this race Post Time: 4:56 ET Track: Tampa Bay Downs (9th Race) Horse: DOUBLE NEAT (#10, 5-1) DOUBLE NEAT was gradually getting to the leader in the lane last time, and though he was unable to do so (and both were run over by the 2/5 favorite) he hardly ran a poor race in defeat; should appreciate the extra ground today and can make the last run given a clean trip behind a quick, contested pace. -Kenny Peck | Get Past Performances for this race Post Time: 5:13 ET Track: Turf Paradise (5th Race) Horse: BANGIE GO (#7, 5-1) BANGIE GO has route speed on the cut back and we like anything different at these lower levels. A stalking trip would work best as there is some zip in here. We like this draw and this horse just might be better as a sprinter and certainly likes this distance at 10-2-2-2. -Scott Ehlers | Get Past Performances for this race Post Time: 6:25 ET Track: Turfway (2nd Race) Horse: BET ON BRET (#3, 8-1) BET ON BRET is never that far off the front end when sprinting and perhaps that style works a little better going two turns. This gelding got figs in the 60's two and four back and maybe, just maybe, that bodes well for today. Trying anything different at this level isn't a bad thing so let's see if this stretch-out works. -Scott Ehlers | Get Past Performances for this race Post Time: 9:25 ET Track: Turfway (8th Race) ROCK N ROLL BOLT (#6, 6-1) ROCK N ROLL BOLT has now won in back to back starts and done so in fine fashion. It is never easy to go from a dirt sprint to a turf route and then back to a synth sprint all while winning. There is some other speed in here but this guy might still be quickest. He has stalked a trip before just in case. Team Camejo are 32% with their repeating winners. -Scott Ehlers | Get Past Performances for this race Post Time: 9:55 ET Track: Turfway (9th Race) Horse: CREEK (#5, 8-1) CREEK is feeling great. He puts three races together and goes for a new barn that is 10% off the claim. This gelding has cashed for place bettors in six straight. Versatile style is what we like best. -Scott Ehlers | Get Past Performances for this race Post Time: 10:25 ET Track: Turfway (10th Race) Horse: SHANE FALCO (#2, 10-1) SHANE FALCO is a DRF Best Bet (Scott Ehlers). | Get Past Performances for this race Looking for more action?
