DRF's Horse Racing Playbook for Wednesday, March 2, 2022

Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook – something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action.
12:45 TAM 2nd BION MAGIC (#4, 7-2) is a DRF Best Bet (Kenny Peck). | Get PPs for this race
1:15 TAM 3rd ADRIANNA'S ROCKET (#8, 5-1) is the first starter out of a dam who won 14 races, nine of the sprints on the dirt (including a stakes races), and she earned over $423K; this filly has decent enough works showing and she doesn't meet the deepest of fields for her debut. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race
1:45 TAM 4th DADASHEV (#8, 20-1) seems worth a shot if he's anywhere near his 20-1 Morning Line price, as his trainer wins at a 27% clip with new faces, and he did have a pace excuse in his latest, as he was well off the lead in a race lacking pace, favoring the speeds (note the inverted "S" in DRF pp line); good enough if he can run back to that last Beyer as he stretches back out to two turns. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race
2:35 GP 4th LITTLE VIC (#6, 4-1) got cooked in a torrid speed duel with one of the leading Ky Derby candidates, Classic Causeway, in the Sam Davis and should benefit from two turn debut and addition of Lasix for today's outing. -Mike Welsch | Get PPs for this race
3:18 TAM 7th DUSTGETSINYOUREYES (#8, 8-1) settled for the show in his first and only start going long on the grass but that was a strong effort, as he middle-moved before flattening out; that debut was followed by a layoff, and he went to the bench again after the return, but trainer Michelle Hemingway specializes in layoff horses, and he fits with these if he comes back running. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race
4:37 GP 8th ENTWINE (#7, 8-1) back to more suitable spot and back to favorite surface. On fringes with this kind in N Y much of last season. Could be ready to finally break back into win column at what might be fair price in finale. -Mike Welsch | Get PPs for this race
6:04 TUP 7th SHESAHEATWAVE (#3, 8-1) just didn't fire last out but she didn't get much play either. Now connections drop her way down and this is a move we have seen so many times from this barn. Vergara stays put which is nice but this horse has a recent work which is better. -Scott Ehlers | Get PPs for this race
6:33 TUP 8th TOLUI (#3, 8-1) is by a 12% debut turf sire. His dam went 4-0-0-1 on the grass and earned 16K. Two of four sibs won on the turf while 2 of 3 sibs won routing. Debut was a nice even effort that is just right for the move to two turns. -Scott Ehlers | Get PPs for this race
