12:00 GP 1st Only a moderate chance of rain in forecast for today's card at press time so assuming all races will go as scheduled on turf. WORDMAN (#10, 6-1) drops half his value to this relatively weak spot, should catch enough pace to run down with clean sailing. -Mike Welsch
12:25 TAM 1st JIMA'S GOLD (#4, 8-1) was hurt by the race flow last time, was in against better two back and caught wide in bulky fields three and four back; no more excuses in today's opener, as she meets a seemingly average field for the class level, and she does figure to be a decent price. -Kenny Peck

2:05 GP 5th Back to turf for MO OF THE WEST (#6, 5-1) who ran well despite rough trip against decent bunch in career bow while not badly beaten by pair of next out winners. Third could be the charm. -Mike Welsch
2:28 TAM 5th LEISHLANICK (#4, 7-2) stretches out from an abbreviated sprint to an elongated one and she does loom the controlling speed in this field, which is a little light on pace; latest was also a race that featured several speeds, making it tough for her to get to the lead, but this sprint seems to present a much different race flow. -Kenny Peck
2:58 TAM 6th FOX ROX (#8, 3-1) was off the board and behind a couple of these same runners in their last meeting but he had the toughest trip of all, caught up in a race-long duel early on and weakening only late; can turn the tables today if able to shake loose and back down the fractions on a loose lead. -Kenny Peck

3:41 GP 8th FLUTE MAKER (#7, 8-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Mike Welsch).
4:05 LAD 1st DYNAMIC JULIE (#2, 8-1) beat beat four home in each start to date but she didn't get a clean trip in either. Five of seven sibs beat winners. The blinkers go ON to help shake things up. -Scott Ehlers
4:13 GP 9th TRUE HEIRESS (#3, 7-2) in good form at the present time. Won key race two back despite early trouble, was not badly beaten by even money Fiber Optic after encountering trouble again in latest. Gets yet another pilot today, can be along with better racing luck. -Mike Welsch

4:33 LAD 2nd XAIRO (#1, 10-1) popped and stopped in lone turf start but we still think that effort was encouraging. New barn is 13% on the grass and we like how they want the sod right back. If this filly guns and gets the lead then we think the other speeds let her go in the belief that she will tire. We should get a good price on top of that. This filly did her best running locally even if on the dirt. -Scott Ehlers
4:45 GP 10th Shooting for some value in finale with IAMBUTTER (#1, 30-1) who gets back to the grass after wanting no part of wet track after early trouble last time. Has worked well for this barn since changing hands earlier this season, might just wake up at big balloons from today's inside draw. -Mike Welsch
