12:56 p.m. Eastern Tampa Bay Downs 2nd race – SWEET MOOCHIE (#3, 5-2) is easy to like off that last run, when she missed by just a half--length when in a similar spot, and tough she will be looking to come from well off the pace today as there is plenty of speed to chase in this one. Expecting her to run them all down in the lane if she is able to avoid traffic issues. – Kenny Peck
1:34 p.m. Eastern Gulfstream Park 1st race – MAY I (#5, 15-1) in new hands while switching to dirt for second career outing, and recent works say improvement to be expected. – Mike Welsch
2:05 p.m. Eastern Gulfstream Park 5th race – QUICK STEP ED (#3, 4-1) got knocked around at the break, never fired in dull showing first time with winners, and now returns to softer spot and gets another chance if able to run back to well-graded maiden win over well-meant Weaver first timer. – Mike Welsch

2:28 p.m. Eastern Tampa Bay Downs 5th race – TUDOX EXPECTATIONS (#3, 6-1) is winless at the meet, but he's been in some very tough spots, including in his latest against the sharp My Boy Lenny; working well toward his first start off the bench; may be able to post the upset given the right setup. – Kenny Peck
3:41 p.m. Eastern Gulfstream Park 8th race – DOMINATE THEMOMENT (#2, 6-1) the slightest of edges in a field loaded with logical contenders. Got caught wide, made premature run to lead two back, moved forward from a Beyer standpoint once again last time, well spotted to get back on winning track with any racing luck today. –Mike Welsch
3:58 p.m. Eastern Tampa Bay Downs 8th race – LADY JORDAN (#9, 6-1) was caught up in a duel through swift fractions in her first start versus winners, and she understandably faded late but she does loom the controlling speed in this finale, which is otherwise light on pace. Note the maiden win two back came when she was able to shake loose and back down the fractions, and that's clearly the strategy here. – Kenny Peck

4:05 p.m. Eastern Louisiana Downs 1st race – DEPARTED (#4, 8-1) has done his best work on this dirt. He has never liked Delta Downs, so discount all of those tries. We really like his work tab, and the price should be square. – Scott Ehlers
4:43 p.m. Eastern Lone Star Park 5th race – FASHION ISLAND (#6, 3-1) moves back to turf for her second start off a layoff, and she's put up her best Beyer Speed Figures on the lawn. – Mary Rampellini
5:15 p.m. Eastern Lone Star Park 6th race – EL CHOCOLATE (#7, 4-1) cuts back to one turnm and his best finishes have come at the configuration. – Mary Rampellini

5:55 p.m. Eastern Louisiana Downs 5th race – RECKLESS RANSOM (#3, 4-1) should trip out best as there is a lot of pace in this race. He exits a key race where 2 of 5 returned to win with figs of 74 and 70. Works are perfect. Lozada is 26 percent when riding for this barn locally. – Scott Ehlers
6:22 p.m. Eastern Louisiana Downs 6th race – NAVY TIMES (#9, 20-1) is best when fresh, and that is the case today. He has good speed in a race without much pace. Works are just right, and this gelding is 20-1 on the morning line. Current form is sharp, and he has improved his Beyers in two straight. His only try at this distance came when still a maiden, and he lost by a head while three clear at the eighth pole. – Scott Ehlers
7:31 p.m. Eastern Canterbury Park 5th race – PLENTY OF MUNNY (#7, 12-1) is by a 10 percent debut turf sire. Her dam went 10-4-4-0 on the green and earned $183K (won grass debut). Two of six sibs won on the grass. Current form is fine, and we think this filly will like the grass at a price. – Scott Ehlers
8 p.m. Eastern Canterbury Park 6th race – HONEY'S SOX APPEAL (#2, 6-1) loves this dirt, draws great, lures Arrieta, goes second off the break, and has two local works. – Scott Ehlers
8:58 p.m. Eastern Canterbury Park 8th race – UNITED PATRIOT (#7, 10-1) just worked a bullet and maybe that is key as this barn is 22 percent off a medium layoff (45 to 180 days). His last race came back key when 2 of 3 returned to win with figs of 73 and 63. This horse should trip out well and the price might entice. – Scott Ehlers
9:59 p.m. Eastern Evangeline Downs 8th race – HERMANO T K (#7, 9-2) put in a strong closing bid over 5 1/2 furlongs last out at Fair Grounds and figures to make good use of the added real estate he picks up here on the move to seven-eighths. – Mary Rampellini
