3:37  CNL 5th     That STRIKE ME DOWN's (#5, 6-1) subpar last-start performance came at Churchill Downs, where the turf course was a mess all season, makes it even more excusable vis a vis this drop down to $50K claiming. 5:01  CNL 8th     The $150K Colonial Cup is quite the fascinating contest. 5:39  SAR 9th     EVVIE JETS (#7, 6-1) broke her maiden up here last summer, then just missed in her next two starts, the second of those off the claim for this trainer; finished gamely to win her 3yo finale from just off the pace, then got very unlucky in her return from the layoff when unable to get clear in the stretch; has hinted that she might be better from off the pace, which certainly appeared to be the case last time when strongly rated and then finishing up powerfully to score once getting a seam in the stretch. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
