1:26 TAM 3rd FRENCHY DEPARTED (#10, 10-1) completely blew the first turn in that debut, and that incident certainly cost him any chance to win, but he did recover enough to finish within five lengths of the winner; deserves another chance, and he figures to offer some value against this seemingly average field for the class level. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race

1:38 GP 4th MAJESTIC PHAROAH (#3, 8-1) dons a set of shades and exiting big work with the equipment change while dropping for lowest tag yet. Ability to hndle the Tapeta key in a field loaded with speed. -Mike Welsch | Get PPs for this race

2:38 GP 6th KHOSEA (#5, 6-1) did not get the best of trips returning to Tapeta last time but galloped out like a mare sitting on a big effort. Should offer a little value in another wide open mix. -Mike Welsch | Get PPs for this race

3:45 TAM 8th MONEY'S WORTH (#5, 20-1) returns from a long layoff, nearly a year, but trainer Graham Motion excels with horses off this type of break, and her best figures do put her in the mix, if she can run to them; worth a shot against an apparently average field for this class and distance. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race

4:06 GP 9th CAHUILLA (#5, 20-1) makes local bow after exiting key race last time on west coast. Held own in company with hard knocking older mate Detroit City in first try over the local synthetic strip. Perhaps a bit of a sleeper in finale. -Mike Welsch | Get PPs for this race

4:15 TAM 9th WATER WITCH (#5, 9-2) was caught well off the pace in that last one, which featured a very slow pace, and then was spun very wide off the final turn; she closed with some interest there, and while she was no threat to the winner she just missed the show with a late rally, and she can make the last run here given a better set up. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race

4:48 TUP 5th LITTLE RED RIFLE (#5, 5-1) is bred to like the grass and he has hit the exacta in half of his turf tries. He drops in class and finds a great spot. Race flow is fine and Lara was up for the win only two back. -Scott Ehlers | Get PPs for this race
