DRF's Horse Racing Playbook for Wednesday, December 22, 2021

Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook – something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action.
12:20 TAM 1st MAMBO DANCER (#2, 10-1) didn't fire last out but didn't get bet either. We know that this horse likes it here so let's play the "this horse wasn't acclimated in most recent" game. Plus, she didn't show her usual tactical speed. This barn is 24% going sprint to route. -Scott Ehlers | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
12:30 GP 1st FISHING FOR FUN (#4, 5-1) handled the new surface as well as two turns well at first asking finished third of 11 while showing improvement with addition of blinkers. Looks ready to graduate.-Mike Welsch | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
12:58 GP 2nd MONEY FACTOR (#7, 5-1) exits nice open $10K win on the Tapeta, may not be meeting much better despite the price hike. -Mike Welsch | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
2:18 TAM 5th QUANTUM THEORY (#6, 4-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Scott Ehlers). | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
2:28 GP 5th INTER MIAMI (#7, 6-1) back to more suitable spot, may prove speed of the speed if away running coming in fresh off a couple of sharp works. -Mike Welsch | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
3:18 TAM 7th MARV'S MAGIC (#7, 5-1) has done all of his winning on the turf so there is that. He went first time on this sod previously and did so off a layoff only to run great. He may not get as fast a pace today but it won't be pace-less either. This barn is 19% second off this type of layoff and most runners improve second time on any surface. -Scott Ehlers | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
3:25 TUP 3rd LADY JADE (#7, 6-1) tries a flat mile off the layoff and those longer works tells us she is capable. This barn is 16% with new runners and 25% off a long layoff (flat bet profit). We spy three horses on the stretch-out so that along with the rail runner might provide some pace to chase. -Scott Ehlers | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
3:55 TUP 4th MORNING BLURS (#6, 4-1) exits a key race where 3 of 6 returned to win with figs of 55, 58, and 44. This mare returned off a long layoff three back and won at 8/5 then bounced then caught a good track. She is five for eight in shortened sprints. She has a local work so maybe she is acclimated by now. Ybara is a good choice for a front end try. -Scott Ehlers | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
5:05 GP 10th MISS DELICIOUS (#6, 10-1) ships down from New York where she held own with better including most recent outing when beaten 3 lengths in a field that included pair of next out winners who Beyered 82 and 83 in their subsequent tries. Not facing that kind in finale. -Mike Welsch | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
