35 LS 1st DISINCLINED (#7, 4-1) is a consistent sort who has done some of his best work over the local lawn at Lone Star Park. -Mary Rampellini

02 SAR 5th ROSEY'S PEACH (#3, 10-1) isn't by a sire known for getting precocious runners, but she has pedigree on the bottom and counts among her winning siblings Bering Rose, a debut winner up here at a price a few years ago - also for this trainer - who then went on to place in the Gimma and win the Maid of the Mist in her only other starts as a 2yo; Schettino doesn't have the firepower he once had, but he has always had a nice touch with 2yos. -Mike Beer

11 LS 4th DECORATED ACE (#7, 8-1) shortens up a tad in distance in a move that would seem to suit runner with speed. He also draws an improved post over his last start and has reason to move forward in his second out since March. -Mary Rampellini

46 SAR 8th PROMPT (#7, 10-1) got a fortuitous rain-off back in November of 2018 at Churchill, as he scored impressively in his dirt debut that day, before going on to win twice more early the next year, with all three of those wins coming over this distance; has made his last three starts vs. stakes rivals to no avail and gets logical class relief for this in a race that projects to set up well for him. -Mike Beer

58 CNL 2nd COLD HEARTED WENCH (#1, 9-2) finished pretty well into a slow pace when getting back on turf, apparently her preferred surface, last out at IND. She has a touch of upside and the added half-furlong should help. -Marcus Hersh

50 CNL 6th ZIP LINE TO HEAVEN (#2, 6-1) didn't run badly last out in the turf debut, though he didn't run especially well, either. We do note he's been kept out of the maiden-claiming ranks, possibly with this move into VA-restricted MSW competition in mind. The dam, for what it's worth, was a two-time turf-sprint-stakes winner over the local lawn. -Marcus Hersh

46 CNL 8th PHARAOH'S FASHION (#6, 8-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Marcus Hersh).
