1:46 SAR 2nd: BUSTINO SANTINO (#3, 5-1) has yet to catch a fast track after three starts; ran much better than it may appear on debut when hesitating at the start and then getting bumped between horses to wind up outrun, after which he put in a good finish for third; didn't run poorly at all when shotting for a big purse in his second start, and he did not get a great trip in that last one after losing position early behind a blowout winner; might be a lot better than he looks, but he needs to get out of the gate more efficiently. – Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race

2:52 SAR 4th MASON MANIA (#6, 6-1) was badly compromised by poor starts in two of his last three races; finished up well after a good trip to get the job done going shorter two back; handles two turns and is in much better form than it may appear - Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race

4:37 SAR 7th KING OF HOLLYWOOD (#4, 6-1) has proven to be versatile in terms of distance, surface, and running style, and he earned the top figure of his career when switched from turf to dirt off a win two back; has never been close to this far but can get any kind of trip and is in good form now. – Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race

5:44 SAR 9th MAIL ORDER (#6, 4-1) fired a good one from last off the layoff last time in a race where she had no chance at subsequent stakes winner Roses for Debra; in a better spot here and she can be more handily placed in the second start back. – Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race

6:07 CBY 1st WORKIN NINETOFIVE (#1, 9-2) gets back to two turns and that is probably for the best. She has some speed and draws inside so we expect a forward approach especially with HH in the irons (25% with this barn). 7:07 CBY 3rd MONGOLIAN BEE (#2, 9-2) has tried this tricky distance only once but he won and ran a Beyer top of 75 and did so only three back.
