3:02 SAR 5th GO POKE THE BEAR (#2, 4-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Mike Beer).
3:37 SAR 6th KELLEYCANRUN (#6, 10-1) one of six back in this spot after contending the 6th race from July 23rd for this condition and over this course and distance; finished a no-threat 6th that day but was off the bench and never had a fair chance after rating back to the inside and then trying to rally from behind horses. -Mike Beer

5:20 SAR 9th GO ZAPPEM (#6, 15-1) and BROVIA (#9, 9-2) exit the same race for this condition earlier in the meet, where they both failed to fire and were non-factors through the stretch. GO ZAPPEM was wrapped up after getting shuffled back out of contention around the turn and may rate the benefit of the doubt, as she was off the layoff there and id run better in her two turf starts last year. BROVIA had a bit of a trip two back when failing to come clear in the stretch but had no such excuse last time; too early to give up on her but she needs to bounce back quickly. -Mike Beer
5:55 LAD 5th GOBLER (#2, 12-1) did win on this turf only three back. Allowance foes were too much two back. This gelding caught an off track previously. His last two starts darken his form which helps the price. This gelding got back to back figs of 64 and 67 last summer and they came on this sod. -Scott Ehlers
6:22 LAD 6th LADY BELACQUA (#4, 5-1) goes third off the layoff and adds a half furlong but that is not what we like best. We think that she can steal this race on the front end. Second time this dirt is a plus as is second time this jock. Wire please. -Scott Ehlers

6:40 CBY 3rd TRIPLE MALT (#4, 6-1) tried the grass once and did so going long at the Fair Grounds. Hey, she beat over half the field home that day. After a long layoff, she has run three times and none stand out. But other than her return try they haven't been that bad (1 1/2 lengths two back). Now she tries a turf sprint which she might like and gets Eikleberry who is 30% for this barn. -Scott Ehlers
6:49 LAD 7th TAKING NOTES (#4, 5-1) tried the turf for the first time last out and only beat two home. You would think that connections would return him to the dirt but they opt for the grass again. This colt is bred to like the green. Most horses improve when they try the sod for the second time. This barn shows a flat bet profit on the weeds. -Scott Ehlers
7:10 CBY 4th SHE MIGHT TELL (#4, 9-2) is just good. She didn't get much pace to chase last out but still rallied to lose the photo. Now she goes second time this dirt and might get a better pace today. -Scott Ehlers
8:40 CBY 7th DREAMING OF BLUE (#1, 6-1) has done nothing but improve in all of her starts. We love how she tried two turns and the turf for the first time last out yet won easily. Turf to dirt is a 33% move for this barn (Sterling). If you can win going long on the turf then you can do the same on the dirt. -Scott Ehlers
