Barbara D. Livingston Maracuja (left) hands Malathaat the first loss of her career in the Coaching Club American Oaks July 24 at Saratoga.

Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook – something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action.

2:15 SAR 3rd EAST WING (#7, 9-2) is a DRF Best Bet (Mike Beer). | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

2:36 WO 4th ENGLISH BISCUIT (#1, 15-1) got away slowly before racing wide throughout while rallying for second in her improved second start off the shelf going 6 1/2 furlongs. The daughter of English Channel is stretching out with the pedigree of a router, and the move up in price from $10K to $25K isn’t all that significant when you size up the rest of the field. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

3:10 WO 5th SILENT RUNNER (#9, 5-2) is a DRF Best Bet (Ron Gierkink). | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

5:05 SAR 8th TWO THIRTY FIVE (#10, 6-1) dropping out of the slow-paced Deputed Testamony at Pimlico, that after taking an ill-advised shot in a Grade 1 off the claim; has been racing competitively at around this level right along since dropping to win at the start of the year. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

5:39 SAR 9th PHILLY EAGLES (#4, 8-1) faced eleven others in her Doncaster debut in June and she showed some talent that day while finishing strongly to close that field down after a bit of a slow start; privately purchased since then and looks like a wildcard in here at a price. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

6:13 SAR 10th SANDOR CLEGANE (#7, 6-1) switched to turf for his first start out of this barn and improved considerably to finish a good fourth after getting the best of a rival on a contested pace; back to turf (hopefully) with Lasix on after getting rained off in his first start back. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

7:10 CBY 3rd SQUARED STRAIGHT (#3, 6-1) just needs to break decent to find the front end into the first turn. If so, then he can take these gate to wire. Second time with new barn is a plus and said barn is 18% on the grass. This gelding should be better on the weeds and notice the quick turnaround. Luv it. -Scott Ehlers | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

8:30 DMR 8th AUSTIN’S BOY (#5, 6-1) can post a mild upset in this Cal-bred N1X turf sprint that is conspicuously short on pace. ‘BOY showed speed and tired in his comeback, posted two quick works since, and has a history of improving second out. He won a maiden race in winter 2020 making the second start of his career. ‘BOY, full sibling to millionaire multiple stakes winner Richard’s Boy, gets the call to wire the field. -Brad Free | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

8:40 CBY 6th GIANT GAMBLE (#8, 5-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Scott Ehlers). | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

9:10 CBY 7th RUNAWAY A. TRAIN (#6, 6-1) exits a key race where 2 of 7 returned to win with figs of 28 and 34. Both of those return winners end up in this race something you don’t see often. This filly has plenty of rest between starts and a nice work on the 13th. You get Mac in your corner at a price which is nice. -Scott Ehlers | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets

9:40 CBY 8th HENRY O’HENRY (#4, 6-1) just needs to crack the 3 on the front end to steal this. We think the other speed could be OFF form. This gelding has won twice in a shortened sprint. -Scott Ehlers | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
