Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook – something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action. 12:00 GPW 1st OKALANI (#3, 6-1) was pretty much done when she was forced to go extremely wide on the first turn due to My Glory clipping heels and falling in front of her. She ended up losing by just six lengths and could be sitting on a big effort in her third start for David. -Randy Goulding | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 12:58 GPW 3rd FREEDOM MATTERS (#2, 10-1) just missed in the Sunshine Millions Turf Preview the only time he ran over this surface and he ran like a horse that needed a race when he finished sixth in a $20K open claimer coming off a lengthy layoff on Sept. 24. His bullet 4-furlong move on Oct. 11 suggest he's ready to fire a big shot in his second start back and might be worth a stab at what should be a decent price. -Randy Goulding | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 1:32 LRL 3rd THREE QUARTER TIME (#3, 9-2), a strongly-built daughter of Tizway, has really taken to route racing for Tom Proctor. She looked good winning her maiden at Tampa Bay three back after tracking the early pace and taking over on the second turn. Worked out a nice trip prompting a slow pace en route to defeating winners two back at Laurel, then gave a good try most recently at Delaware. -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 2:04 LRL 4th FAST FASHION (#9, 6-1) is out of a dam that won her career debut at two sprinting on dirt at Belmont (68 Beyer in maiden special weight). That dam is also a half-sister to juvenile Grade 3-winning turf router Prussian. Second dam was multiple Group 1-placed on turf. Lots of grass ability in this pedigree, but some interesting workouts leading up to her debut. -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 2:17 BEL 3rd WISHES AND DREAMS (#6, 9-2) bumped into a pair of class-droppers when back to dirt two starts back and she ran better than it looks in that spot after chasing wide and then being bothered in the stretch by a rival being pulled up out of the race; improved last time when once again chasing a drop-down winner after getting off to a slow start. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 2:44 WO 2nd MATTHAUS (#2, 10-1) has been losing ground after flashing early foot in OS/$40K sprints. With blinkers off in this $25K event, she's going long for the first time with ample stamina on both sides of her family tree. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 3:06 GPW 7th OVER THE CHANNEL (#1, 9-2) gets the nod in a wide-open event where just about any of them could win. The 4-year-old is stepping up in class but he is on the improve and he is perfect running over this surface. He overcame a slow start to win his latest and if he breaks well from his inside post he should get a nice trip from a forward position. -Randy Goulding | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 3:12 LRL 6th It's fairly remarkable that ALWAYS FORGIVEN (#4, 10-1) has won two of his last three starts considering he spots the field at least five lengths at the start. He'll receive a major class test as he double-jumps in class in first start off the Trujillo claim and you know he'll miss the break, but there seems to be a good amount of pace for him to attack late and he should offer a solid price on the tote. -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 3:38 GPW 8th KAREN'S COVE (#8, 8-1) is on top of his game right now with a win and runner-up finish in his last two. He came from a stalking position in his win here Oct. 9 and could get a similar trip. He can repeat for a trainer who is red hot at the meet. -Randy Goulding | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 3:42 WO 4th SOTHATSTHEWAYITIS (#3, 12-1) never fired in a recent optional starter on the dirt at Fort Erie in her first try off the $9.5K reclaim by Rombis. Her tactical speed should be more effective in this $7.5K seller going five-eighths on the Tapeta. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 3:52 BEL 6th LIL JOJO (#3, 15-1) has quite a bit of pedigree to be debuting for this tag so may be one to tread lightly with, but he could be interesting should this race wind up on dirt as his dam moved way up on a wet track, breaking her maiden in the mus at Saratoga with a 90 Beyer, and coming back as a 3yo to win the Grade 2 Indian Oaks on the slop with an 88. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 4:55 BEL 8th ABSENTEE (#13, 8-1) has run well in NY in the past and he has been racing in better form than it may appear recently while facing solid competition out of town; handles a wet track and figures to be competitive once again of this race winds up on the main track. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 5:15 WO 7th YASINIA (#2, 6-1) has a second-place finish on the inner turf on her record, and she's coming off a second in a NW2 route on the main course won by a rejuvenated Preferred Guest, who came back to beat NW3 OS stock with a 79 Beyer. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
