DRF's Horse Racing Playbook for Thursday, November 18, 2021

Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook – something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action.
12:20 AQU 1st CONGLOMERATE (#6, 5-1) raced a little too freely while caught uncovered with blinkers on last time at Keeneland, and wound up tiring in a race that went to closers at the end; thought he ran well after breaking slowly off the long layoff two back behind the speedy Abaan, who returned to win again last weekend with an 85 Beyer; blinkers come right off for his third start back. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
12:25 LRL 1st PRETTY EDGY (#4, 6-1) is offered for a tag for the first time since her winning debut and all three of her wins have come without blinkers (they're off today). The favorite controlled a race where they ran one-two all the way around 18 days ago and Pretty Edgy couldn't make up their tactical advantage. -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
12:50 AQU 2nd CONVERTIBLE FREEZE (#1, 9-2) is a DRF Best Bet (Mike Beer). | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
12:55 WO 1st BIZYMALINE (#3, 9-2) wound up fifth behind a next-out winner when debuting in a seven-furlong sprint at this $25K class. Her dam was a stakes-winning router who dropped three route winners from as many starters, and her trainer has excellent numbers with stretchouts. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
1:03 LRL 2nd IZZYBELLA (#5, 4-1) was overmatched in the Rosenberger Memorial on turf two back. Dismissed at 29 to 1, she tracked outside and made no headway. Finished behind Good Life Cider and that one returned to win an off-turf, entry-level allowance here with a 67 Beyer. Dueled Hashtag Lucky into defeat last time on dirt, but herself felt the effects of that pace battle. It will be interesting to see what trip she pulls here. -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
1:36 LRL 3rd AWFULLY FOXY (#7, 6-1) ran a solid final quarter in recent off-turf sprint. Held up three wide and in between horses, she split rivals in the stretch and finished with aplomb in a race won in gate-to-wire fashion. She appears to be rounding into form for this, her third start following 230 days on the sidelines, and should get enough pace to attack in the stretch. -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
1:55 WO 3rd MURCIELAGO (#7, 8-1) dueled for the lead along the rail over an outside-favoring track before tiring to third when halving in price off a claim/layoff in his second start. The son of Silent Name could be the dominant speed in this shorter $7.5K dash. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
2:15 AQU 5th NEW GINYA (#11, 6-1) went for $250k after reaching out during a 10.2 breeze in June; first foal from eight-time turf sprint winner and multiple stakes winner Rapid Rhythm debuts for one of the best first-out trainers in the game - Cle,ment 3 for his last 9 with first time starters routing on turf at this Aqueduct winter meet, with an ROI over $5.00. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
2:23 GP 5th Tons of pace could again set things up for KHOZY MY BOY (#5, 7-2) who beat same kind two back when rating, rallying off sharp early fractions. -Mike Welsch | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
3:44 AQU 8th BATTLE SCARS (#12, 6-1) won his first two starts vs. open company with strong late runs, one of those when running down a heavy favorite in his route debut; in a better spot making his first start for Weaver after going evenly in the Hawthorne Derby last time. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
4:28 WO 8th Unlike the others, RINCE TAPAIGH (#3, 10-1) is coming into this $7.5K route fresh off a little break, during which she worked thrice. The durable veteran has generally stuck to sprinting this year, but was competitive going long in the past. Stein was aboard for her July 8 triumph. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
