DRF's Horse Racing Playbook for Thursday, November 12, 2020

Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook – something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action.
12:35 GPW 1st FEARLESS LION (#5, 9-2) ran on decently for 3rd in his $32K debut on GP dirt (sloppy) Sept. 11. He then tried turf and tougher here Oct. 12 but had a troubled start and was never in the race. He was likely out of his element there anyway. Well, he gets some serious class relief, returns to dirt and has a strong work since. His 2 sibs are both multiple winners including Bridgetothefuture (28-3-1-1, $67K). -Michael Hammersly | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
12:50 AQU 2nd NOT PHAR NOW (#5, 7-2) is a DRF Best Bet (Mike Beer). | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
1:32 LRL 3rd Although BIG HAMBONE (#3, 15-1) has never won on dirt, he brings the best-last Beyer Speed Figure to the dance after finishing evenly along the inside despite failing to change leads at Delaware. That race produced two next-out winners (the winner returned to beat open $8,000 claimers here with an 83 Beyer). -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
3:46 LRL 7th SMOKIN HOT FACTOR (#7, 6-1) tracked a quick pace while four wide, seemed one-paced on the outside on the turn and couldn't muster a strong finish in the Maryland Million Starter Handicap. Perhaps that wide trip sapped his late kick and he was in against ultra-tough Bobby G over wet going two starts back. -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
3:56 WO 4th REDHAIR N FRECKLES (#7, 8-1) was along for second last time behind the favored Due North, who was subsequently a slow-starting fourth as the favorite vs. $5K NW2 rivals. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
4:42 GPW 9th It took a while but MIGHTY FAST (#4, 6-1) finally put it all together here Oct. 30, blasting maidens by 11 3/4 lengths. He faces winners for the first time but these are maiden winners-only so the class hike isn't as big as it might otherwise be. Prado was up for that bid win so he saw what works with this guy and stays put. -Michael Hammersly | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
4:50 LRL 9th Don't think that trip worked out for HERO'S HOPE (#8, 8-1) last time out over sloppy going at Penn National. Off a beat slow, he was four wide on the first turn and five deep on the backstretch before briefly dropping inside to save some ground on the second turn. -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
