Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook – something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action. 1:10 WO 1st THE NEWFIE EXPRESS (#6, 15-1) showed nothing when coming off the bench vs. $15K NW2 stock, but he could finally notch his second win in the much easier $7.5K contest going the same seven-furlong distance of his comeback. His trainer has begun the meet on a positive note. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race 2:46 WO 4th STUNNING RIVERS (#2, 10-1) was sandwiched between rivals at the break before rallying for third in her comeback, and was softened up in a speed duel while saving ground over an outside-favoring track most recently. She should make some noise at a square price if things go her way on this occasion. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race  3:21 WO 5th J AND B IN CRUMLIN (#6, 6-1) has worked well for a trainer who's better at first asking than his recent stats would suggest. The son of Big Screen is out of the stakes-winning sprinter Oistins, who's been a modest producer. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race 3:21 GP 5th PIPITO (#9, 6-1) a fresh face to relatively weak category and getting equipment change for local bow. Appeared to handle the Tapeta well in sharp bullet trial last week. -Mike Welsch | Get PPs for this race  3:30 PIM 6th Perhaps FOOL YOURSELF (#1, 5-1) is merely using this race as a prep for something longer, but she classes up well with this group and should make a late run. Received a hot pace to attack in the Maryland Million Ladies three back, swung wide into the stretch and gave an even finish. -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race 4:27 GP 7th STORMY PATTERN (#2, 9-2) stays put off the claim and could prove controlling speed if aggressively handled from the outset from his inside post. Earned high marks earning diploma in gate to wire fashion, this distance, last fall. -Mike Welsch | Get PPs for this race  6:10 CBY 1st BLAME J D (#5, 5-1) tries easier and does so with a positive rider switch. That bullet work on the 20th bodes well. This gelding exits a key race where 2 of 8 returned to win with figs of 73 and 72. Versatile style and outside post go hand in hand. Jockey Harry Hernandez is bringing in some nice prices early in the meet (10-1 and 5-1 on Saturday). -Scott Ehlers | Get PPs for this race 7:10 CBY 3rd DAIGLE (#5, 8-1) jumped a fallen foe last out so out the window it goes. We have pocket excuses for those dirt routes two and three back. This mare is bred to love the green and has won on the grass before including this sod. Wade gets a leg up and the price will entice. -Scott Ehlers | Get PPs for this race 8:10 CBY 5th SILLY BILLY (#7, 10-1) is by a 7% debut sire and 4% debut turf sire. His dam went 58-20-12-6 and earned 408K (37-14-5-3 on the turf for 238K). Both sibs won including a turf winner. Two turns on the turf for a debut is very tough but this race didn't come up tough while work tab is very nice. -Scott Ehlers | Get PPs for this race  10:10 CBY 9th AWESOME EMMIT (#6, 9-2) is 6 for 27 here and 3 for 30 everywhere else. Last summer, this gelding came here from Fonner and ran back to back top tries when 1st and 2nd at odds of 8-1 and 4-1. You could argue that he is in better shape now. -Scott Ehlers | Get PPs for this race  9:20 WBS (Harness) 8th MISTER J R (#2, 3-1) got hung up briefly behind dead cover on the last turn and it probably cost him a win last week. That was a strong effort and he is clear top pick for me here. – Garnet Barnsdale | Get PPs for this race
