?q=100)
Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook; something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day's action.
12:25 PIM 1st Big test for CLOUDS OF WHITE (#6, 5-1) as she returns from a 595-day layoff, but the Trombetta barn has pulled this trick before (Redacted Report following a 583-day layoff in 2021 the most recent example). Decent try two back sprinting at Colonial against males in a race where they ran 1-2 all the way. Lurched at the start and was far back, split horses on the turn, then finished evenly near the rail. -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
12:50 GP 1st THE DOORMAN (#6, 12-1) one of a couple of intriguing new faces in the opener. Has shown some promise on occasion in the a.m. and barn certainly can have one ready to win off the bench if properly spotted. -Mike Welsch | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
12:58 PIM 2nd ASKIN FOR A BASKIN (#1, 10-1) is a solid seven-time winner coming off a good effort in a $12,000 starter-optional. Settled in between horses at the back behind quick fractions (22.58; 22.91), stayed within range while remaining near the inside, split foes three wide in upper stretch, then just couldn't outfinish back-classer He Hate Me. He's adaptable to the race flow, and might wind up closer to the leader this time around. -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
3:23 GP 6th CORDUROY ROAD (#3, 9-2) hard to fault in current form from a Beyer standpoint and perhaps facing softer company than in those wide open $10K and $16K claimers he's run in lately. Race conditions fit this guy perfectly with last win on 11/12, just two weeks before cut off point for eligibility to this event. -Mike Welsch | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
3:53 GP 7th PRETTYKEEN (#3, 10-1) comes off best yet on Tapeta and barn on a real roll of late. Shaky call with a clean run. -Mike Welsch | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
5:47 WO 3rd FLAT OUT VIXEN (#2, 6-1) broke inward before taking the long way home to finish a close fourth when coming off a long break in a sprint. She's moving out to the more suitable distance of 1 1/16 miles here under Campos, who was aboard for her neck loss Oct. 15. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
6:47 WO 5th JMR PURE SENSATION (#4, 12-1) tailed off in the fall and was gelded in the off-season. The 5yo nearly got the job done vs. $25K maidens when going long off a similar break last spring and can obviously fire when fresh. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
8:14 WO 8th VELIKIY (#2, 3-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Ron Gierkink). | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
