4:24 TUP 4th JOKER MATT (#1, 6-1) tried a tough 6 1/2 furlongs in his debut and ran evenly after being far back early. For a debut, that was actually OK. He tried a flat mile in his second start and simply ran better when 2nd at 7-1. Second time routing can only help and this colt draws inside which helps with a forward approach. 5:31 TUP 6th MONGOLIAN ROSE (#6, 8-1) might trip out best as there is a lot of speed in this race. This filly has some upside and seems to like this dirt. Form cycle hints at better as this filly goes third off the layoff. 9:40 WBS (Harness) 9th JUST DAISY (#5, 5-2) paced a 25 4/5 kicker in her return race and could do no better than fifth, which tells you all you need to know about how she was hamstrung by the dawdling pace.
