1:40 GP 2nd Stable mates ITS SATISFACTUAL (#4, 6-1) and VIBRANT LADY (#7, 8-1) from dangerous DeVaux barn both were poorly drawn in their last starts, the former on grass, the latter in a race switched from grass to Tapeta with each showing some promise despite the disadvantageous starting positions. -Mike Welsch

3:27 AQU 5th SWEET MYSTERY (#2, 9-2) scratched from the Biogio's Rose last Sunday to await this spot nd looks well-spotted here as she cuts back to a better distance after running quite well going longer in that last one; consistent mare can get any kind of trip from the rail. -Mike Beer

4:00 AQU 6th MORTGAGE RATE (#1A, 8-1) had a troubled trip on debut when never landing a blow behind heavily-backed Pletcher firster Turn Up the Trees (the runnerup from that race was a big price but returned to win his next start with a 75 Beyer); shipped here for his next start and had no chance with the speedy Heavyweight Champs; drops with something to prove but might deserve one more chance. -Mike Beer

4:10 GP 7th A PALACE FOR MOM (#8, 7-2) certainly on the improve. Beat nothing on graduation day but did so impressively before returning to finish troubled fifth stepping up against starter allowance foes four weeks later, getting bottled up in traffic while seemingly having some late run during latter stages. Galloped out well. Deserves another chance with straight claimers. -Mike Welsch

5:44 TUP 6th ALBERTA SUN (#3, 7-2) just ran better and did so when second out for new barn. Why can't this 6YO continue to improve under the care of the leading barn? We know this mare loves this dirt at 10-4-4-0. Reyes stays put and is 22% for this barn. This horse has speed but can stalk so a good trip is more likely than not. Said barn is 26% on the dirt and 27% in sprints. -Scott Ehlers

6:42 TUP 8th CREME DE MENTHE (#1, 6-1) gets some pace to chase and likes a shortened sprint at 4-1-1-1. That was a nice try off the layoff two back and then possibly a classic bounce in her most recent. This filly did face better before the layoff and we like how she puts three races together. -Scott Ehlers

7:11 TUP 9th MR LOVE MUFFIN (#10, 6-1) did little off the layoff two back but he was trying better and didn't get much play when sent off at 20-1. He added distance last out but didn't run that much better and again at big odds of 42-1. Now he goes third off the layoff, switches to his best surface, and drops in class. We love it that he has a recent work. This horse has won on this sod before and his Beyer top of 63 came on it. -Scott Ehlers
